Golf isn't the same as the other ball games. It does not have the same playing surface. This makes it difficult to adapt to the diverse terrains on each course. A typical course is comprised of 18 to 9 holes. These are areas of land with cups that indicate the spot where the ball is received. Every hole on a golf course has a teeing area starting point, as well as a putting green containing the cup. There are various standard forms of terrain that lie between the tees and the green, such as the fairway and rough (tall grass) and a variety of hazards like water, rocks, or bunkers that are filled with sand. Every hole on the golf course is distinctive. It can be played in stroke play or match play. Stroke play, especially played at the highest level, is the most common game format.
