Patricia Apollonia Kotero has been an actress and model in America for a number of years. Kotero was the female lead vocalist for Apollonia 6 and co-starred in Prince's film Purple Rain from 1984. She then appeared in a handful of minor movies in the 1980s (reportedly refusing the opportunity to appear in the follow-up to Purple Rain Under the Cherry Moon) and then settled on an evening-time part in the drama Falcon Crest in 1985-1986. Apollonia finally released her debut album in 1988, but the fairly pedestrian set of songs that incorporated dance/R&B did not make much impression on those who bought music, and soon the album vanished off the shelves. In the years following, she continued to be active in the field of acting (if she was a bit off the radar) and also in a few television roles, films and an exercise video. Apollonia made a bilingual CD called Stay with Me in 1997. She returned to the school, received a diploma in making films. She then formed her firm and began working in children's TV.
